What Has The S&P 500 Done Historically Under a Split Congress?

Thanks for watching.  We have seen a lot happening over the last 24 hours with the elections, and what I wanted to do is just show you historic data as to what happens when we have a Republican presidency and a split Congress.  Now this graph that I’m showing you here is done by a company called First Trust and they do a lot of research into this. And what this graph shows is from 1950 through today that there is actually a very good reason to believe that a split Congress in the U.S. can actually be a positive for the stock market in general. That’s what I wanted to convey, that there are some very good opportunities out there. And more importantly as you have questions, as you want to talk through some things a little bit more, give me a call we can definitely talk more. Take care.
